Sound Advice ... means Technical Support. Not for 90 days, not for a year, but forever. Whether you have a question about hooking things up, running wires, internet music, interfacing with a product you didn't buy from Alterman Audio, etc, we will answer your question. More important, we explain things. If something isn't working right, the long term reliability of the products we recommend is very high. So, the chances of it actually needing a repair is very slim. Usually its a button got pushed that changed operation. We take the time to walk you through the steps to get things up and running again. No charge!

Sound Advice ... on what you need. You might need a certain HDMI cable to connect your Blu-ray. What kind of speaker wire do you need to run in your attic. We can answer those and other questions. Do you need a 55 inch or 75 inch TV ... that's a harder question. We know what it costs makes a difference. We know that a floor standing speaker or a in ceiling mounted speaker makes a difference. We know some folks are more interested in great sound for their movies, and others are more focused on closing their eyes and thinking the symphony or band is right there in your living room. Some people want both. Our goal, and we been acheiving our goal for several decades, is to make you happy!

Sound Advice ... on what brand to buy. It is all a matter of opinion. We have definitive recommendations and we explain those recommendations in detail. Over the decades we have been lucky enough to sell the brands we love.

Sound Advice ... includes placement. This is far more important than most people think. We ask people to send us photos of the four walls of their rooms. Sometimes we do a "walkthrough" to evaluate the installtion requierments.

Sound Advice ... don't let a kid do your installation. Nobody has more experience, more know-how, more technical expertise and passion for great sound and a outstanding movie expeirence in the home than our Head of Installation
