This is an absolutely astounding system for an unbelievable low price. This new Yamaha receiver has plenty of power, decodes all surround sound formats and is quite affordable. The DVD has progressive scan. And the speakers, just introduced, offer a pure, musical sound, previously found only on very expensive audio perfectionist, very high price speakers. These are tower speakers, because bigger speakers move more air, are easier to place in a room, and far easier to drive. The bass strong enough to not require a powered subwoofer. When the bombs go off they literally blow your away.
